Weekend Ticketing: Dave Matthews Band, Rod Stewart, Backstreet Boys, Jimmy Buffett

Tickets for summer Dave Matthews Band concerts are scheduled to hit the market in at least a dozen North American markets--most of which are in the Eastern time zone--on Saturday (4/7).

Matthews and band will take to the road in late April, and tickets to most shows went on sale in previous weeks. In several cases, the band’s performances already have sold out.

A listing of all of this weekend’s Dave Matthews Band ticket on-sales that could be confirmed by press time follows:

Rod Stewart will launch a tour in support of his new album, “Human,” in June. Tickets go on sale in 13 North American markets in the coming days. Stewart’s confirmed itinerary and ticket on-sale dates follow:

Backstreet Boys open a tour in their home base of Orlando, Fla., in June. Tickets have already hit the market for several of the group’s performances, and tickets will go on sale in additional cities in the coming days.

On Saturday (4/7) at 9 a.m Eastern Time, tickets for the group’s Buffalo appearance will go on sale at Tickets.com outlets and at the venue box office. At 10 a.m. Eastern Time, tickets for shows in Raleigh and Greensboro, N.C., will go on sale.

At 10 a.m. Central Time on Saturday, tickets will go on sale for Backstreet Boys’ upcoming show in the Chicago area, and at 11 a.m. Mountain Time, tickets for the group’s Denver show will be released.

On Sunday (4/8) at noon Pacific Time, tickets will be available for two Southern California shows--San Bernardino and Inglewood. Finally, at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday (4/9), fans in the Boston area will get their shot at a newly added show.

Tickets for two Boston-area appearances by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will go on sale on Saturday (4/7) at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Tickets for all of the other confirmed shows on Buffett’s itinerary went on sale in previous weeks, and some shows have already sold out.
