Before spending its summer headlining Ozzfest’s second stage, Disturbed is gearing up for a U.S. club tour with openers Spineshank and Godhead in tow. The tour kicks off on March 16, and Mudvayne jumps on board as an additional support act on March 30.
Disturbed, whose Giant Records’ debut "The Sickness" (Giant) recently went platinum, wrapped up a European jaunt opening for Marilyn Manson on Feb. 21. The band's latest single, "Voices," is No. 20 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart, while the video has been added to MTV's rotation. The band’s previously unreleased track "God of the Mind" appears on the soundtrack to the movie "Valentine."
On April 10, Mudvayne is scheduled to release a 33-minute DVD single that features eight multi-angle views of its first video "Dig." Without widespread airplay, Mudvayne’s Epic debut "L.D. 50" has sold more than 100,000 copies. It was produced by Slipknot percussionist Shawn "6" Crahan.
