Unified Theory has added a series of December tour dates to its ongoing tour that will keep the band on the road through mid-month, according to the group’s publicist. The new batch of dates includes eight headlining performances and one radio festival that also features Nickelback, Everlast and others.
On Tuesday night (12/5), the group will continue its current headlining tour with a stop in Indianapolis. Dates throughout the Midwest follow, including stops in Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha, Kansas City and St. Louis.
A Dec. 16 performance in Memphis is the last stop scheduled on the group’s current itinerary. There, the band is slated to appear as part of radio station WMFS’ Electric Christmas 4 concert, which is also scheduled to feature performances by Broken, Lifehouse, Nickelback and Everlast, according to the station’s official website.
Unified Theory comprises former Blind Melon guitarist Christopher Thorn and bassist Brad Smith, former Pearl Jam and Candlebox drummer Dave Krusen, and frontman Chris Shinn. The group set out on a headlining club tour in support of its self-titled debut on Nov. 1. Prior to that, the band held the opening slot on both the VAST and Live/Counting Crows tours.
The group is expected to continue touring in support of its August release, “Unified Theory” (Universal/3:33), well into 2001, according to its publicist.
