Backstreet Boys , following a massive weekend on-sale of tickets to many of their upcoming U.S. concerts, have cleared up confusion surrounding the jaunt’s West Coast stops, according to the tour's promoter. The group has also added second-night performances in many cities on its itinerary.
After shuffling several previously announced California dates, Backstreet Boys have now confirmed four California stops that begin with a March 2 performance in Oakland. A subsequent March 5 stop--originally scheduled in Anaheim--is now set for Sacramento. A March 14 stop in Los Angeles replaces a previously scheduled San Diego stop. That San Diego show has been pushed back to March 17.
Tickets for the March 5 date in Sacramento are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday (12/9), while on-sale information for the three other California shows will be announced on Monday (12/4) around 5 p.m. Eastern Time, according to the tour's promoter. That on-sale information will appear on LiveDaily’s Backstreet Boys “Black & Blue” Tour page as soon as it becomes available.
In addition to solidifying its California tour plans, Backstreet Boys have also added second-night performances to its upcoming stops in Ft. Lauderdale, Philadelphia, Uniondale, N.Y., Pittsburgh, Rosemont, Ill., Tacoma and Phoenix.
Backstreet Boys are readying a tour in support of “Black & Blue” (Jive). The group’s new album sold about 1.6 million copies in its first week of release and debuted at No. 1 on last week’s album chart.
