Described as everything from emo to post-hardcore, indie-rock group Cursive has been flying under the mainstream radar for more than a decade. Formed in Omaha, NE, the band is led by enigmatic frontman Tim Kasher, who alternately whispers and screams his lyrics with sincere abandon.
In March, Cursive released its sixth studio album, "Mama I'm Swollen" on Saddle Creek Records, and embarked on a tour that's currently set to run through early August.
Fans on the West Coast have two more chances to catch the group before it returns to the Midwest: Tonight (6/29) at the Glass House in Pomona, CA, and tomorrow (6/30) at the Beauty Bar in Las Vegas. I attended their show at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall on Saturday (6/27), and here are some of my photos.
