Blondie has expanded the group's "Call Me Invincible" run with Pat Benatar , adding special guests The Donnas to the majority of summer shows.
Since last check, 21 performances have been tacked onto the US outing, which gets underway on the West Coast in mid-July with a pair of Blondie-only dates, and a lone show that will feature Blondie and Benatar, sans The Donnas.
The full roster pulls together July 25 in Lemoore, CA, and canvases the country through an Aug. 23 appearance in Houston, TX. The tour's final seven shows will feature Blondie alone once again, along with a couple of one-off solo performances spread throughout the schedule. Details are shown below.
Both headlining acts are celebrating 30th anniversaries while on the road: Blondie's break-through album, "Parallel Lines," which spawned the chart-topping single "Heart of Glass," and Benatar's debut, "In the Heat of the Night," featuring "Heartbreaker."
Blondie's most recent release, "The Curse of Blondie," surfaced in 2003, while Benatar dropped "Ultimate Collection," a two-disc, 40-song set, last summer.
The Donnas will release "Greatest Hits Vol. 16" July 7. The forthcoming set will feature a handful of the all-girl group's hits, along with new and previously unreleased tracks.
