The Toadies will follow up their first tour of the UK with a short slate of US shows concentrated along the West Coast this summer.
Following the UK outing, which kicks off next week and runs through the end of the month, the Fort Worth rockers will begin a string of seven dates July 10 in Oklahoma City that wraps up July 19 in San Francisco. Along with an appearance at the Austin City Limits Festival in early October, the group's schedule also includes Dia De Los Toadies slated for Aug. 29 in Glen Rose, TX. Details are below.
This will be the second year the rockers have chosen a remote location--an 11,000-acre private ranch an hour outside of Fort Worth this time around--to throw a 5,000-person concert.
"Last year's Dia De Los Toadies event was probably the most fun gig of the year, in a year where we played lots of great shows, including Lollapalooza," drummer Mark Reznicek said in a press release. "The band and the fans all had an incredibly fun time, and I'm really looking forward to doing it again."
The Toadies' most recent release, last August's "No Deliverance," will make its UK debut later this summer. A limited-edition EP, dubbed "Made in Texas," featuring hits from the band's previous three releases, will hit shelves in the UK June 15.
