The New York Dolls
"Cause I Sez So"
(ATCO)

The legendary glam-rock act continues to ride the comeback trail as it offers up its fourth studio album. "Cause I Sez So" follows 2006's "One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This," which was the first offering from the band since reuniting in 2005.

The 12-track "Cause I Sez So" was recorded in Hawaii and produced by Todd Rundgren, who also was behind the boards for the New York Dolls' eponymous, 1973 debut.

The New York Dolls will support the new album with a 16-city trek, which begins May 20 in Solana Beach, CA, and runs through mid-June.

Ben Harper and the Relentless7
"White Lies For Dark Times"
(Virgin)

The eclectically talented frontman, who regularly combines bits of blues, pop, folk, gospel and reggae in his alt-rock mix, is set to unveil his latest project: Ben Harper and the Relentless7.

The ensemble, which formed last year, currently is supporting its debut album, "White Lies For Dark Times," on the road. Having performed at two major concerts last week--the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN--the group will spend all of this month on the road. Ben Harper and the Relentless7 are also scheduled to appear June 13 at the mammoth Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN.

Ciara

The popular R&B/hip-hop star is ready to take her fans on a "Fantasy Ride." The album, the vocalist's third, follows 2004's "Goodies" and "Evolution," which have combined to sell more than 7 million records.

"Fantasy Ride" is a star-studded trip, including production work by Justin Timberlake, Tricky and Rodney Jerkins, among many others. The record also features Timberlake on the single "Love Sex Magic," as well as guest appearances by Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Chris Brown, The-Dream and T-Pain.

Yusuf
"Roadsinger"
(A&M)

The singer/songwriter formerly known as Cat Stevens, who changed his name after converting to Islam in the late '70s, returns to action with "Roadsinger." The album follows such offerings as 2005's "Indian Ocean," 2006's "An Other Cup" and 2008's "I Look, I See 2," all of which were recorded under the name Yusuf.
