Amy Winehouse's husband asks for divorce
Amy Winehouse 's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is seeking a divorce on the grounds of alleged infidelity, according to an Associated Press report. Fielder-Civil's attorney Henri Brandman reportedly said he has been instructed "to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery."
In the past, Winehouse repeatedly has professed her undying love for "my Blake." But recently she has been photographed on vacation in the Caribbean with an alleged new beau, Josh Bowman, and has been linked by tabloid newspapers to other men.
Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were married in May 2007. He was arrested six months later. In July, he was sentenced to 27 months in jail for beating up a man and then offering him a bribe to keep quite about it.
Fielder-Civil was released into a drug rehab center in November, but was sent back to prison weeks later for bail violations.
