San Francisco's Noise Pop Festival, which will take place Feb. 24-March 1 at venues throughout the city, will feature Stephen Malkmus [ tickets ] making his Noise Pop solo debut. The 17th annual fest also will feature Josh Ritter [ tickets ], Martha Wainwright [ tickets ], Antony & The Johnsons, No Age [ tickets ], A.C. Newman, Clues, St. Vincent, French Kicks, Ra Ra Riot, Broker West, The Morning Benders and The Submarines, according to a press release.

In addition to live music, Noise Pop 2009 will feature a film festival, gallery art openings and "Industry Noise," a single-day music conference featuring educational panels.
