Six more cities have been added to the co-billed, husband-and-wife tour of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill , a move that will push the outing into mid-October. McGraw and Hill opened the tour on July 12 in Atlanta.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday (9/7) for five of the newly confirmed dates.
During the tour, McGraw and Hill each perform a solo set, and also take the stage together for duets during the course of the show.
Dubbed the Soul to Soul tour, the McGraw-Hill pairing has been the summer’s biggest box office success story for country music, playing to an average of more than 15,500 fans per city, according to Pollstar. That edges the Dixie Chicks by about 1,500 people per market.
Hill is scheduled to perform during the 34th Annual CMA Awards, which will be handed out during a televised ceremony on Oct. 4. Hill is nominated for eight awards, and is slated to perform her new single "There Will Come a Day."
