Two Cities Added To Pearl Jam’s North American Tour
update: Pearl Jam has added stops in the Sacramento area and in Portland to its North American tour, which opened earlier this month. Meanwhile, Seattle radio station 107.7 The End has revealed that the previously unannounced venue for the band’s tour-ending hometown appearances will be Key Arena.
Tickets for the Sacramento-area and Portland shows--which fall on Oct. 30 and Nov. 2, respectively--are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday (8/26); ticket on-sale information for the Seattle shows was not available at press time.
In other Pearl Jam news, New York radio station WXRK has announced plans to carry a live broadcast of the band’s Thursday (8/24) performance at Jones Beach. The station plans to begin broadcasting at about 8:45 p.m. Eastern Time, or whenever Pearl Jam takes the stage.
