KISS Keeps Its Farewell Tour Alive

KISS has tacked more than a dozen dates onto its long-running farewell tour. The outing is now scheduled to run through Oct. 7, and additional shows are likely to be announced in the coming weeks.

Among the new dates are three Canadian stops, as well as appearances in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Connecticut, Maryland and the Carolinas.

Ted Nugent and Skid Row continue to occupy the opening slots on most dates. Nugent, however, is not scheduled to appear on any of the upcoming tour dates in his home state of Michigan.

KISS is in the midst of what it claims will be its final tour, its third since reuniting the original KISS lineup in 1996. The tour opened in March, but the band has yet to state when it will end.
