Alt-rockers Papa Roach , who are on tour with Avenged Sevenfold and Buckcherry , plan to release their fifth studio album next month.
Papa Roach has been previewing material from "Metamorphosis" during the outing, which just covered the West Coast and continues tomorrow (2/12) in Rapid City, SD. The jaunt still has more than 30 US cities to visit from the Midwest to the East Coast, as well as a March 14 stop in Toronto. When those dates wrap in mid-April, PR will head to Europe for a couple of weeks. North American shows are listed below and those overseas can be found at the band's website.
"Metamorphosis," due March 24, was written at Southern California's historic (and said-to-be-haunted) Paramour Mansion. The set follows Papa Roach's 2006 effort, "The Paramour Sessions," which was recorded at the mysterious estate.
The forthcoming album's lead single, "Lifeline," is already burning up active- and alternative-rock radio, and Papa Roach has released a live performance of the tune filmed at Crue Fest 2008 in Toronto. The official video was recorded last week and is expected to surface toward the end of the month.
"Lifeline" is currently available for purchase at digital outlets and Hot Topic retailers, and the song is streaming at Papa Roach's MySpace page.
