Hank Williams III maps 'Proud' winter trek

Country-music rebel Hank Williams III has lined up an early year headlining jaunt in support of his latest studio set, "Damn Right, Rebel Proud."

Williams, the son of Hank Williams, Jr., and the grandson of country-music pioneer Hank Williams, kicks off the outing Feb. 15 in New Orleans. The 11-city trek sticks mostly to the Southwest and West Coast, winding up Feb. 28 in San Francisco. Dates are below.

Released in October, Williams' fourth and latest studio set, "Damn Right, Rebel Proud," was issued in both a censored version for major retailers, and an uncensored version.

The album, which follows 2006's "Straight to Hell," peaked at No. 18 on The Billboard 200 chart, and reached No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums listing.

Williams first appeared on the 1996 release "Three Hanks: Men with Broken Hearts," which featured the younger Hank singing together with both his father and grandfather through technical wizardry.
