
Kanye West 's "808s & Heartbreak" tops the latest US album chart thanks to first-week sales of 450,000 copies. The much-hyped Guns N' Roses comeback album, meanwhile, enters the chart at No. 3.
West's latest No. 1 set marks his third consecutive chart-topper, though his previous release, 2005's "Graduation," moved a much healthier 957,000 copies during its first week out, according to Billboard.
Young country star Taylor Swift 's sophomore set, "Fearless," moves up two notches on this week's Billboard 200 to No. 2 on sales of 267,000 copies. Billboard bases its flagship album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.
Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy," sold exclusively by Best Buy, moved 261,000 copies during its first week out, and debuts at No. 3. The set marks the first album of original material by Guns N' Roses since 1991's "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II," though frontman Axl Rose is the only remaining member of the group from that era.
Beyonce's "I Am ... Sasha Fierce" sold 257,000 copies during its second week out and slips from No. 1 to No. 4, while Ludacris news, tour dates, photos and tickets"> Ludacris ' "Theater of the Mind" enters the chart at No. 5 on sales of 213,000, according to Billboard.
Rounding out the Top 10 are The Killers ' "Day & Age" at No. 6, Nickelback 's "Dark Horse" at No. 7, the "Twilight" soundtrack at No. 8, the "Now 29" hits compilation at No. 9 and David Cook's self-titled debut at No. 10.
