Laid-back hip-hop duo Shwayze might want to think about upping their vitamin intake, as the pair faces an almost non-stop tour schedule for the remainder of 2008.
The Malibu, CA, act--consisting of namesake rapper Shwayze (Aaron Curtis) and Whitestarr guitarist Cisco Adler--will kick off a headlining tour Sept. 16 in Las Vegas. The 19-city outing, which will also feature indie rapper Tyga, will carry the duo through mid-October, at which point Shwayze and Adler hop on a second tour with indie electronica act Metro Station.
The second leg of dates, again with Tyga in tow, launches Oct. 17 in Sauget, IL, and runs through the end of November, hitting 32 cities along the way, to bring Shwayze's grand total of fall roadwork to more than 50 shows. All dates are included below.

Shwayze is supporting its self-titled debut album, which hit stores earlier this month on the Geffen label. The set represents the first recorded work for the pair, who are featured on their own MTV reality series, "Buzzin'," which debuted in July. The duo shares writing credits on all 11 tracks on the album, which was produced by Adler, who also contributed backing vocals. The set debuted at No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart this week.
"I have a studio in my house, and that made it easy for us," said Adler in the band's online bio, explaining how the pair worked together on the record. "I'd usually have a beat made, or we'd just make one right on the spot, or even a whole track, and we'd just go to work. There was no particular process. It was party the night before to get something to talk about, then wake up in the morning and make a song about it."
"We weren't signed to Geffen yet, and we weren't paying attention to that," he added. "We were just creating a sound and an artist, just for the sheer fun of it."
