Miranda Lambert sets more 'Crazy' tour dates

Miranda Lambert and her "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" continue to show strength on the road, with new dates keeping the country star roaming the country through fall.

The Texas singer, who gained her first taste of fame as a finalist during the 2003 season of "Nashville Star," continues her trek Thursday (8/28) in West Palm Beach, FL, and will tackle more than a dozen additional dates over the coming two months. Details are below.

Lambert continues to tour behind last year's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," her second studio album and also her second straight No. 1 appearance on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The singer wrote or co-wrote eight of the disc's 11 tracks, including "Famous in a Small Town," which hit No. 14 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

The single also netted Lambert a Grammy nomination earlier this month for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, following her win last year at the ACM Awards for Best New Female Artist.

The album's fourth and latest single, "More Like Her," ships to radio stations Sept. 1.

"That's a really personal song I wrote not long ago, when I was going through a lot of stuff," Lambert remarked of the tune on her website. "I had a situation where there was another woman who I felt was getting the things I wanted. It almost scared me to put it on the record, it was so personal and introspective. But my fans deserve that from me, so I just need to go for it.

"I felt it so much in the studio, and you can hear it in my voice," she added. "This is the first time I've let myself be that vulnerable. I'm usually the girl who won't take any crap, but that's not realistic all the time."
