
On the heels of a successful national spring tour, Irish punk rockers Flogging Molly are set to jig their way through the US beginning Sept. 12 in Portland, ME.
The 21-city trip includes a two-night stand at San Francisco's legendary Fillmore, and fans will get a sneak preview of the tour when Flogging Molly plays the River Rocks festival in New York City on July 31 and Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 3. Details are listed below.
An online ticket presale for the fall tour begins today (6/12), and tickets go on sale to the general public June 21.
Flogging Molly's 2008 release, "Float," hit stores on March 4 and landed the band in the No. 4 slot on The Billboard 200 album chart, the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Independent Albums, and No. 2 on Billboard Alternative Album charts. According to a press release, the bands albums collectively have sold more than 1.3 million copies.
Flogging Molly's previous album, "Within a Mile of Home" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Independent Artist Chart and No. 20 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart.
