Alt-rockers Cute Is What We Aim For have carved out a hefty summer tour schedule behind the impending release of the band's sophomore effort, "Rotation."
The headlining run kicks off the week before the new album's release, starting with a June 15 show in Pittsburgh, PA. The group plans to visit 45 cities during the trek, which runs well into August. Dates are below.
The band is preparing for a brief UK run before launching the US tour; the full overseas schedule can be found at Cute's official website.
"Rotation"--the group's second studio set, following 2006's "The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch"--is scheduled to hit store shelves June 24. The first single from the forthcoming album, "Practice Makes Perfect," was used earlier this year on an episode of MTV's reality/drama program "The Hills."
"Rotation" is the first Cute Is What We Aim For recording to feature new bassist Dave Melillo, who replaced founding member Fred Cimato in March.
