Miranda Lambert looks ahead for busy summer run

Country singer Miranda Lambert has begun to shape up her tour schedule ahead of a busy summer season that includes a healthy allotment of county fairs and outdoor festivals.

The Texas singer--who gained her first public attention as a finalist on the 2003 season of cable television's "Nashville Star" talent program--has about 35 dates currently lined up through the middle of August, including her next show, a Thursday night (2/21) appearance in Cleveland.

After playing scattered dates throughout the spring months, Lambert's itinerary starts to heat up in June, when she mounts a summer trek that currently shows 22 cities in just over two months. The singer's complete schedule is included below.

Lambert is touring behind last year's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," her second studio album and also her second straight No. 1 appearance on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The singer wrote or co-wrote eight of the disc's 11 tracks, including "Famous in a Small Town," which hit No. 14 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.

The single also netted Lambert a Grammy nomination earlier this month for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Last year the singer won an Academy of Country Music award for Best New Female Artist.
