Country duo Sugarland have taken the first steps toward carving out their usual busy summer as they continue to support their most recent album, "Enjoy the Ride."
The Atlanta-based pair of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush show only a scattered schedule until June, leading with a March 8 show in Valdosta, GA. Once the summer months hit, though, the pair will ramp things up, with 10 dates currently showing for June. The duo's full current schedule is included below.
Nettles and Bush co-wrote most of the tracks on "Enjoy the Ride," which spawned a pair of No. 1 singles in "Want To" and "Settlin'," along with the set's most recent single, "These Are the Days."
The album, released late in 2006, boasts co-production by Nettles and Bush, along with Nashville veteran Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill).
"In the studio, I felt one hundred percent confident in letting Kristian guide the flow and it was really neat for me to sit back and watch him do his thing," Nettles said in the band's online bio. "He really stepped up to the plate artistically and I felt like I could explore how I'd developed vocally and even contribute to other parts."
"This is the twenty-ninth record I've made," added Bush, who spent a decade as one half of Atlanta folk-rock duo Billy Pilgrim. "And probably the most rewarding yet."
