Staind frontman Aaron Lewis will spend the early days of 2008 playing some more solo-acoustic concerts, and will also hit the stage for a one-off performance with his Staind bandmates.
Lewis' schedule so far includes back-to-back solo-acoustic performances in Niagara Falls, NY, tonight and tomorrow night, and stops in six cities are set between now and the end of Feburary. The singer/songwriter's solo outing is slated to wrap up with a late-February three-night stand at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut that will be filmed for a forthcoming live DVD.
Meanwhile, Lewis will reconvene with his Staind bandmates for a Feb. 13 performance at the San Antonio Rodeo. Details for that show are available at the rodeo's website, and Lewis' solo schedule is listed below.
Staind is currently working on a follow-up to 2005's platinum-selling "Chapter V." A video diary of the band's progress in the studio is posted at its MySpace page.
Lewis has been performing alone rather frequently since early last year. He reportedly has been working on a solo album for some time, but a release date hasn't been announced.
