Rascal Flatts ready to roll out expanded tour

Rascal Flatts have more than doubled the number of dates on their upcoming tour ahead of this week's launch.

Since last check, the country-pop trio has added several US cities to the fold--New Orleans; Las Vegas; Buffalo, NY; and State College, PA--as well as a half-dozen Canadian provinces. The arena outing, which launches Jan. 17 in Manchester, NH, includes stops at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, CA, and Bayfest in Sarnia, Ontario. Details are listed below.

Rascal Flatts are coming off a stellar year during which the guys won an armful of trophies, including their fifth consecutive Vocal Group of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music, the same honor from the Country Music Association, a pair of People's Choice honors, the CMT Music Award for Video of the Year, and the American Music Award for Best Band, Duo or Group.

The band's September release, "Still Feels Good," became its third consecutive No. 1 debut and spawned Rascal Flatts' fastest-rising hit, "Take Me There." The follow-up single, "Winner at a Losing Game," is currently climbing country and pop charts, and is streaming at the group's MySpace page.

"Still Feels Good," Rascal Flatts' fifth studio set, follows "Me and My Gang," which was the biggest sales debut of 2006. The tour behind that album reached more than 1 million fans in 74 cities, making the trio the best-selling act across all genres that year, according to a press release.
