Eminem Being Sued By Alleged Assault Victim

Eminem (a.k.a. Marshall Mathers) has had a civil suit filed against him by the man he allegedly assaulted at a Michigan nightclub.

On Friday (6/9), John E. Guerra of Michigan filed a $25,000 civil suit against Eminem for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Eminem allegedly hit Guerra over the head with an unloaded handgun in the early morning hours of June 4, after reportedly catching his wife, Kim Mathers, kissing Guerra at a Michigan nightclub. The rapper was arrested and subsequently charged with two weapons charges, to which he pled not guilty.

On Thursday (6/8), Eminem was charged with two weapons charges in connection with a separate, June 3 incident in which he allegedly brandished a handgun during an argument with an Insane Clown Posse employee.

This week, Eminem is scheduled to begin the "Up In Smoke" tour, which also features Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
