Nonpoint, Skindred go on fall 'Rampage'

Nu-metal rockers Nonpoint and Skindred have joined forces to headline the upcoming Great American Rampage tour, which will also feature up-and-comers Ankla and Karnivool .

The four acts--all of whom are signed to Bieler Bros. Records, the label Nonpoint's management founded several years ago--will link up in late October on Nonpoint's home turf in southern Florida, and are currently scheduled to touch down in about 20 cities by late November. The itinerary is included below.

Nonpoint is gearing up for the Nov. 6 release of its sixth album, "Vengeance," which follows 2005's "To the Pain." The group will warm up for the Rampage tour with a Sept. 22 performance in Altamont, NY, as part of radio station WZMR 104.9's Edgefest festival.

Britain's Skindred will dish out its latest set, "RootsRockRiot," Oct 23. The album--which the group recorded with producer Matt Squire at Bieler Bros. Studios in Pompano Beach, FL--features the leadoff single "Ratrace," which is streaming at Skindred's MySpace page.

Los Angeles-based Ankla's debut set, "Steep Trails," hit the shelves in July, and Aussie rockers Karnivool continue to back their 2005 debut, "Themata."
