Gwen Stefani adds West Coast run

Gwen Stefani plans to bring her Sweet Escape Tour back to the US this fall for a handful of West Coast shows.

The pop star, who finished a major North American outing in June, will return to Nevada, Arizona and California beginning Oct. 26 in Las Vegas. Currently, she's scheduled to wrap her world tour Nov. 8-9 with two shows in Phoenix. Ticket sales begin this Saturday (8/18).

Stefani also has a two-night stand booked Aug. 24-25 in Honolulu, HI. Those gigs will be sandwiched between tours of Asia and Europe. US dates are listed below, while overseas shows can be found at Stefani's website.

The singer continues to support her sophomore solo album, "The Sweet Escape," which surfaced in December and reached No. 3 on The Billboard 200. The set has spawned hits "Wind It Up" and the title track, along with the latest single, "4 in the Morning," all of which are streaming at Stefani's MySpace page.

"The Sweet Escape" follows the performer's quadruple-platinum-selling 2004 solo debut, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." Last year, Stefani also released her first solo DVD, "Harajuku Lovers Live," which captures concert footage from her previous tour and includes a behind-the-scenes documentary.

The No Doubt frontwoman-turned-solo-artist intends to head back into the studio soon to record an album with her old bandmates, according to various reports. The record would be No Doubt's first since 2001's "Rock Steady."

Stefani has been quoted in recent reports as saying there has been some tension in the band because her wildly successful solo stint wasn't supposed to last this long.
