Teen star Miley Cyrus , a.k.a. Hannah Montana , is getting ready to hit the road this fall for a 54-date trek that will visit arenas across the US.
The 14-year-old singer/songwriter/actress will perform as a double bill, appearing first as her Disney Channel character Hannah Montana and then closing the show with material from her new solo album, "Meet Miley Cyrus."
Dates kick off Oct. 18 in St. Louis, MO, and wrap Jan. 9 in Albany, NY. Two-night stands are booked in Worcester, MA; Long Island, NY; and Newark, NJ. Cyrus also has one Canadian show on the itinerary: Dec. 15 in Toronto. Details are listed below.
Teen pop-rockers The Jonas Brothers, who just released their self-titled debut album, will serve as special guests on the tour. Tickets for the first group of dates go on sale Aug. 18.
Cyrus will donate $1 from each ticket sold to The City of Hope with a goal of raising more than $500,000, according to a press release.
The performer's debut solo album, "Meet Miley Cyrus," was released in June as a two-disc set featuring the "Hannah Montana 2" soundtrack. The collection debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and reached platinum status after one week.
Cyrus shot to fame last year as the star of the Disney Channel television series "Hannah Montana," in which the teen acts alongside her real-life dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
