Toby Keith feeds 'Big Dog' extra dates

Toby Keith , who unleashed his Big Dog Daddy Tour last month, has completed about a third of the US outing and has just added a few more gigs.

The trek resumes Friday (7/27) in Auburn, WA, and has more than 30 stops to go all over the country through late September. Cities recently added are Las Vegas; Columbus, OH; Corpus Christi, TX; and Hidalgo, TX. The itinerary is included below.

Singer/songwriter Miranda Lambert and country band Flynnville Train are opening the tour, which is rolling mainly through amphitheaters and festivals.

Keith is supporting his new album, "Big Dog Daddy," which debuted at No. 1 on the The Billboard 200 last month, making it the country star's third set to do so. The record--the first to credit Keith as sole producer--has spawned the fastest-rising single of his career, "High Maintenance Woman," and current single "Love Me if You Can." Samples of those songs are streaming at Keith's MySpace page.

"Big Dog Daddy" is the singer/guitarist's second release on his own Show Dog Nashville label. Last year's "White Trash with Money" scored Keith his 12th career platinum album award and helped him become the most-played country artist on radio for the fourth consecutive year, according to Nielsen BDS.

Keith has sold more than 30 million albums in his career and has earned a slew of accolades including three BMI Songwriter of the Year trophies and several Academy of Country Music Awards. He's also branched out into acting and owns the Toby Keith I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant chain.
