'NOW! 25' compilation storms to No. 1

The 25th installment of "NOW! That's What I Call Music" has become the 12th in the series to hit No. 1 on the US album chart.

The hits compilation sold 223,000 copies in the US during its first week in stores, enough to top the latest Billboard 200 chart. Billboard bases its album chart on Nielsen SoundScan retail data.

Climbing up one spot to nab the No. 2 position is Miley Cyrus ' "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus," while rapper T.I. 's "T.I. vs. T.I.P." sold 94,000 copies and slips to No. 3 after a two-week residency at No. 1, according to Billboard.

The "Hairspray" soundtrack sold 72,000 copies last week, jumping from No. 20 to No. 4, while Colbie Caillat 's debut, "Coco," debuts at No. 5 on sales of 51,000; her single "Bubby" was available free last week via Apple's iTunes store.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Fergie 's "Dutchess," Linkin Park 's "Minutes to Midnight," Amy Winehouse 's "Back to Black," Nickelback 's "All the Right Reasons" and Bon Jovi 's "Lost Highway."
