Ja Rule was arrested an hour later, when the car he was traveling in was pulled over, allegedly for speeding. Police said a search of the car allegedly turned up another .40-caliber gun.
Each performer reportedly was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Lucinda Williams' upcoming tour will include five-night runs at small New York City and Los Angeles venues, during which she'll perform one record from her catalog in its entirety each night. She'll also play a second set of additional material each night.

She'll be performing the five albums--1988's "Lucinda Williams," 1990's "Sweet Old World," 1998's "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road," 2001's "Essence" and 2003's "World Without Tears"--in reverse chronological order on each coast, beginning with "World Without Tears" on the first night and ending with "Lucinda Williams" on the final night.
