Keith Urban gets ready for 'Crazy' tour

With the launch of his summer tour just days away, country star Keith Urban has made a few tweaks to his schedule, adding a new show and a pair of second nights to existing venues.

Since last check, the singer has added an Aug. 12 date in Uncasville, CT, as well as additional nights in the pair of Alberta cities that close the tour: Sept. 19 in Calgary, and Sept. 22 in Edmonton.

Urban has also carved out time in his schedule for an Aug. 3 appearance at Minnesota's We Fest, a rural outdoor country music event that also includes Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson and others. See the event's website for the full lineup.

Urban's North American trek kicks off Friday (6/8) in Phoenix, with 35 cities on the slate. The full schedule is detailed below.

"I'm looking forward to getting back on the road, to reconnecting with everyone and to doing what it is that I love to do," Urban said in a press release. "To finally be able to present the songs from 'Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing' live, is something that I've been looking forward to doing since recording the album."

"Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing," Urban's fourth studio album, was released in November, but the entertainer put off touring and promotional appearances to check himself into rehab for alcohol addiction.

Despite the delay, the album went to No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart and scored hit singles "Stupid Boy" and Grammy-nominated cut "Once in a Lifetime."
