Country-pop hitmakers Rascal Flatts are set to play a handful of dates across the US in July and August, just before releasing their fifth studio album.
Shows launch July 13-14 with a two-nighter in Uncasville, CT, followed by gigs in Auburn Hills, MI; Cleveland, OH; Stateline, NV; Indianapolis; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; and Charlotte, NC. Details are listed below.
Rascal Flatts is currently in the studio with award-winning producer Dan Huff, working on a new, yet-to-be-titled set, which is due Sept. 25.
The hard-touring trio sold more albums than any other act in 2006, and played to more than 1 million fans, according to press release. The group has been supporting its latest multiplatinum album, "Me and My Gang," which debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 chart upon its April 2006 release. That record has spawned crossover hits "Stand," "My Wish" and "What Hurts the Most," all of which are streaming at Rascal Flatts' MySpace page.
"Me and My Gang" followed the Grammy-winning group's 2004 breakthrough disc, "Feels Like Today," which has been certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Last month, Rascal Flatts again won the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Group honor, and scored Video of the Year for "What Hurts the Most" at April's CMT Music Awards.
The group has sold more than 12 million records during its seven-year career, according to a press release.
