
Ska/punk bands Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish are teaming up to launch a summer tour that coincides with this year's Vans Warped Tour .
The jaunt begins July 3 in Kansas City, MO, and so far is set to run through Aug. 19. The itinerary is listed below. Reel Big Fish's publicist said more dates are expected to be announced soon. Streetlight Manifesto and Against All Authority are the support acts.
On tour, Reel Big Fish is planning to preview songs from its upcoming 17-song CD, "Monkeys for Nothin' and the Chimps for Free," due in stores July 10.
"It's everything you ever wanted, needed and never expected from Reel Big Fish," vocalist/guitarist Aaron Barrett said about the new record in a statement.
Less Than Jake- is still pushing 2006's "In With the Out Crowd." After the US run, the group is scheduled to play a six-night residency at London's Mean FiddlerSept. 11-16. The band plans to perform a different album each night alongside b-sides and rarities, with "Pezcore" (1995), "Losing Streak" (1996), "Hello Rockview" (1998), "Borders & Boundaries" (2000), "Anthem" (2003) and "In With The Out Crowd" (2006) all set to receive a full airing.
Streetlight Manifesto, which is working on a new album, is touring in support of 2006's "Keasbey Nights." Meanwhile, Against All Authority is in the studio as well, but still pushing its 2006 release "The Restoration of Chaos and Order."
