Groban wrote and produced several songs on "Awake," which hit stores in November. The multiplatinum-selling singer collaborated with several artists on the album, including Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Dave Matthews, Glen Ballard, Eric Mouquet, John Ondrasik (Five for Fighting), Marius DeVries, David Foster, Imogen Heap and Herbie Hancock.

The 13 tracks on the record, a few of which are streaming at Groban's MySpace page, are sung in Italian, Spanish and English. A 16-track version of the set is also available as an internet-only limited edition at Groban's website. That version includes a DVD with footage from the making of the album.

The 26-year-old baritone burst onto the music scene in 2001 with the release of his self-titled debut. He started his touring career with a sold-out, 40-city outing, which launched a two-year arena tour across the US, according to Groban's bio.

The singer has also been a favorite on the talk-show circuit, with several appearances on "Oprah Winfrey," "Good Morning America" and "The Today Show." He's performed at the Super
Bowl, the Oscars and the closing ceremonies of the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, which boasted a television audience of more than 2 billion.

Groban has also been the subject of two PBS specials, one of which went on to become the No. 1 selling DVD of 2002, according to the singer's website.
