
Carrie Underwood led the list of winners at the CMT Music Awards for the second year in a row, taking home two awards for the video to her hit song "Before He Cheats."
Underwood claimed CMT belt buckles for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year as the annual awards were handed out Monday night (4/16) at the Curb Events Center at Nashville's Belmont University. The singer also shared a third award--Director of the Year--with Roman White, the video's director,
Kenny Chesney took top honors for Male Video of the Year for his "You Save Me" video, following up on his Video of the Year award from last year. Other award winners included Rascal Flatts , Jack Ingram, Taylor Swift and Sugarland. A complete list of winners is included below.
Underwood, Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Hank Williams Jr. and Keith Urban all delivered performances on the live broadcast of the show, which aired on CMT, while Kris Kristofferson was presented with the honorary Johnny Cash Visionary Award.
The host of the ceremony was comedian Jeff Foxworthy, whose opening monologue paid tribute to those killed at Virginia Tech earlier in the day. "We want you to know that you are in the hearts and minds of the country music community," Foxworthy said.
