LA-based indie-rockers Silversun Pickups will continue to back their critically acclaimed debut full-length, "Carnavas," with a spring tour before heading overseas for a UK run.
The group will also open a pair of August shows in Ireland and Scotland for Foo Fighters. Full details on the overseas itinerary are posted at Silversun Pickups' official website.
Closer to home, the band's spring North American trek--which features Dangerbird Records labelmates Sea Wolf in the opening slot through May 15--kicks off Thursday (4/12) in Vancouver, British Columbia. The 14-date outing runs through mid-May and features a fair number of festival appearances, including an April 27 slot at Coachella in Indio, CA. Details are included below.
Released in June last year, "Carnavas" followed the band's debut EP, 2005's "Pikul."
"Lazy Eye," Silversun Pickups' latest single, recently broke into the Top 10 on Billboard's Alternative Rock Chart, moving up three notches from the previous week to claim the No. 9 spot.
Indie-rockers Sea Wolf are due to issue their debut EP, "Get to the River Before It Runs Too Low," on May 8.
