Due to the laws of supply and demand, second showings of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill 's "Soul2Soul Tour" have been added in Omaha, Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Boston, and a new stop in Grand Rapids, MI, has also been slotted into the schedule.
The outing, which now kicks off June 5 in Omaha, currently sports 40 dates all over the US and Canada. The nine-show Canadian run marks the superstar country couple's first-ever performances throughout the country. Dates are listed below.
Last year's "Soul2Soul" jaunt was the highest-grossing country music tour in history and the 12th highest-grossing outing of all time, according to concert-industry mag Pollstar.
"The crowds for every show on Soul2Soul II were out of control--they rocked," McGraw and Hill said in a joint statement. "To know that we're able to do this again is a great feeling, but we'll have more to live up to this time."
This year's two-and-a-half-hour production will again be configured in the round , and will include several first-time performances by the power couple, as well as many of each singer's No. 1 solo hits, according to a press release. Tickets are on sale now. Details can be found at the "Soul2Soul Tour" website.
Meanwhile, McGraw released his 11th album yesterday (3/27), "Let it Go," which is his first studio set in nearly three years. The record follows 2004's "Live Like You Were Dying" and last year's "Reflected: Greatest Hits V. 2," McGraw's ninth consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album chart, according to a press release.
McGraw is also furthering his acting career, working on upcoming films "The Kingdom" with Jamie Foxx and "In The Valley of Elah."
Hill's last three albums, including 2005's multi-platinum "Fireflies," each debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart and the magazine's Top Country Albums chart. She is the only female artist to accomplish that feat, according to a statement.
McGraw and Hill have sold more than 64 million albums combined. The Grammy-winning singers are both currently hoping to add more Country Music Television and Academy of Country Music awards to their pile in the coming months.
