Stevie Nicks ' new "best of" collection is set to hit stores Tuesday (3/27) and the singer will support the CD/DVD by launching a US outing with Chris Isaak .
The Crystal Visions Tour starts May 17 in Concord, CA, and travels from the West Coast to the East Coast through June 17. Along the way, Nicks and Isaak will play two-night stands in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Following the tour with Isaak, Nicks is scheduled to play a few casino dates--a two-nigher in Rama, Ontario, and one in Verona, NY. Details are included below.
It's been a while since Nicks mounted a full-scale US trek. She toured Australia and New Zealand last year, and also tagged along on several dates with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. She is currently finishing a four-night run at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace.
The Grammy-award-winning singer's new release, "Crystal Visions ... The Very Best of Stevie Nicks," is a collection of songs from her three-decade career as a solo artist and member of Fleetwood Mac. The CD features several previously unreleased live tracks and a couple of dance remixes, while the DVD comprises 13 videos with voice-over commentary by Nicks and an audio interview by journalist David Wild. The DVD also includes never-before-seen home video filmed during the making of Nicks' five-times platinum "Bella Donna" album, according to a press release.
Nicks' most recent solo album is 2001's "Trouble in Shangri-La" and her latest with Fleetwood Mac is 2003's "Say You Will."
