Hollywood Bowl To Honor Garth Brooks, John Williams

Country music superstar Garth Brooks and composer-conductor John Williams will be the first artists inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame, which will be housed at the venue's Edmund D. Edelman Museum. The induction celebration will take place during the June 23 season-opening concert at the 78-year-old Los Angeles amphitheater.

Conductor John Mauceri will lead the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra in a tribute to the inductees, and Brooks and Williams each will make a special appearance at the event.

Brooks' last appearance at the venue was during a sold-out 1994 gig with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
