Indigo Girls Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, who recently concluded an acoustic tour of small venues, will take to the road this summer with a full band. They continue to support their album “Come On Now Social,” which was released last September.
The summer tour, which opens in Atlanta on June 2, will visit a mix of amphitheaters and large clubs, and dates have been confirmed through July.
Amy Ray had an emergency appendectomy in late February, and doctors discovered and removed an ovarian cyst during the surgery. Her recovery forced the cancellation of a planned March tour of Australia, but the duo was back on the road a month later.
Beginning later this month, Ray will host a tour of bands signed to her independent label, Daemon Records, in celebration of the label's 10th anniversary. Details about the tour are available on the official Indigo Girls website.
