Staind [ tickets ] and P.O.D. [ tickets ] will co-headline the first MTV Return of the Rock Tour, named for the weekday block of rock music programming that airs on the cable network. Dope [ tickets ] and Crazy Town [ tickets ] will fill out the bill for the 12-date club tour, which runs June 14-29.

MTV is partnering with rock and alternative radio stations in each market to present the concerts. Roadrunner Records and MTV plan to release on June 13 a compilation CD featuring songs from bands on the tour, as well as Korn, Kid Rock and others.
