Chicago gets busy this season

Now in their 40th year as a band, classic rockers Chicago are still touring like there's no tomorrow.

The group is getting ready to embark on a major North American outing that launches March 6 in Roanoke, VA, and has stops in nearly 50 dates lined up through July. Many of the summer shows also feature veteran rockers America.

The tour itinerary is listed below; details about which concerts feature America can be found at Chicago's website.

In March, Chicago released its 30th album, appropriately titled "XXX," which was also the band's first new studio set in 10 years. "XXX" was produced by Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus.

A live version of the album's single "Feel" is streaming at Chicago's website.

Over the course of its long career, the Grammy-winning band has scored sales of more than 120 million albums and has racked up 50 hits in the US, including five No. 1 singles, according to Chicago's website. The group has earned 18 gold and 13 platinum records.

Chicago's lineup, which has fluctuated over the years, currently includes founding members Robert Lamm (keyboards/vocals), Walter Parazaider (sax/woodwinds), Lee Loughnane (trumpet), and James Pankow (trombone), as well as Bill Champlin (keyboards/vocals), Jason Scheff (bass/vocals), Keith Howland (guitar) and Tris Imboden (drums).
