On the Acoustic En Vivo Tour, named after the band's 2005 live release of the same name, Los Lobos will play some of their classic tunes alongside material from their latest album, "The Town and the City," as well as traditional folkloric songs from Latin America. Bluesman Taj Mahal will join the band on several dates.
"The Town and the City" is the 13th studio album of Los Lobos' 34-year career. The self-produced record, which was released in September, landed on several critics' lists as one of the Top 10 albums of 2006. A couple of songs from the set are streaming at Los Lobos' MySpace page.
