Punk rockers Anberlin are set to headline a winter US tour with Bayside , Meg & Dia , and Jonezetta , starting with a Feb. 21 gig in North Carolina.
"Cities," Anberlin's' third offering from the Tooth and Nail label, hits stores Feb. 20. The album's first single, "Godspeed," is streaming at the band's MySpace page, and is also available from iTunes as a digital single that includes the B-side "Haunting."
Anberlin is vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarist Joseph Milligan, bassist Deon Rexroat, guitarist Nathan Strayer and drummer Nathan Young.
"[We've] always had really good songs," Christian said in a press release."Still, I think this is the first time we've got a really great album." Milligan added. "I'd like to think we have more in us and even broader spaces to cover in the future, but this is our proudest moment. I'd just like to have it find its way into the hands of as many people as possible. Not for glory, but because we're so proud of it."
Bayside will release its new album, "The Walking Wounded," Feb. 6. The set is available for preorder on the group's website.
Anberlin's labelmates Jonezetta are pushing "Popularity," which was sent to stores last October.
MTV's TRL offered a sneak peek of Meg & Dia's new video, "Monster," earlier this month. The song appears on the album "Something Real."
