The fourth leg of Tom Waits ' "Get Behind The Mule Tour," the eclectic performer's first extended jaunt in a dozen years, has been confirmed to hit Denver, Eugene, Ore., Vancouver and Seattle beginning in mid-October.
Waits' itinerary now shows a two-week break after he plays four September dates at New York's Beacon Theatre. After that, he'll embark the newly-announced dates. In Denver, the on sale date will be Sept. 20 for shows Oct. 12-13 at Denver's Paramount Theatre.
From there, it's a one-night-stand at the Hult Center in Eugene, Ore., on Oct. 15 (on sale is Sept. 18). Waits then heads north to Vancouver for an Oct. 17 performance at the Orpheum Theatre (on sale Sept. 13), and he wraps up the leg with a pair of shows at Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre (on sale Sept. 18).
Waits began his U.S. tour -- which has resulted in a series of quick sell-outs in the U.S. and Europe -- with a brief series of shows on the West Coast in June. The tour supports Waits' critically acclaimed ''Mule Variations'' album.
