Story of the Year wants fans to 'Taste the Poison'
Alt-metal outfit Story of the Year heads up this fall's "Taste the Poison" tour, an outing that will also feature Anberlin , Greeley Estates and Monty Are I .
The run launches Friday (10/13), and is scheduled to touch down in about 30 cities by mid-November. Details are included below.
SOTY is promising "exciting new set props ... which add to their infamous and explosive live performance," according to a press release, which went on to say that production enhancements include the latest hair style worn by bassist Adam Russell, a.k.a. The Skull.
"The Skull's [Adam Russell] hair will be a lot longer because long hair equals metal!" the band said in a statement.
Story of the Year continues to back its third studio album, last year's "In the Wake of Determination." Produced by Steve Evetts (The Cure, Hatebreed) the album debuted at No. 19 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
"In the Wake of Determination" features the cuts "Our Time is Now," "Take Me Back" and "We Don't Care Anymore," all of which are streaming at SOTY's MySpace page.
