Justin Timberlake storms US album chart
Justin Timberlake 's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" sold about 684,000 copies in the US during its first week in stores, plenty to give the former 'NSync singer his first No. 1 album as a solo act.
Coming in at a distant No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart is John Mayer's "Continuum," which sold about 300,000 copies during its debut week.
Beyonce 's "B'Day," which was last week's No. 1 album, falls to No. 3 this week, with about 162,000 copies sold, according to Billboard.
Checking in at No. 4 is Bob Seger 's first new studio set in more than a decade, "Face the Promise," which sold more than 150,000 copies in its debut week, according to Capitol Records. Bob Dylan 's "Modern Times" sold 93,000 copies, and slipped two rungs to No. 5.
Rounding out the Top 10, according to Billboard, are Lionel Richie's "Coming Home," Hinder's "Extreme Behavior," Danity Kane's self-titled debut, The Mars Volta's "Amputechture" and Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons."
