Country workhorse George Strait has wrapped up work on his 34th album, dubbed "It Just Comes Natural," and will send it to stores on Oct. 3.
The Texas native--who, according to his publicist, has sold more than 62 million albums since he debuted in 1981, and has topped the country chart with 52 different singles--is preceded by the rececently released single "Give It Away."
Among the album's other tracks are the ballad "That's My Kind of Woman" (co-written by frequent Strait collaborator Dean Dillon), "She Told Me So" (a Bobby Braddock song), the title track (penned by Marv Green and Jim Collins) and "One Foot in Front of the Other" (by Lee Roy Parnell and Cris Moore).
Three of Strait's trademark cowboy tunes can be found among the set's 15 tracks: "I Ain't Her Cowboy Anymore," "How 'Bout them Cowgirls" and the Guy Clark-penned "Texas Cookin'."
Strait has long been one of the most popular live performers in country music. Though he played about 30 shows during the first half of 2006, he so far hasn't confirmed any future touring plans behind the new album. That's likely to change as the new album's release date approaches.
