LeAnn Rimes has rescheduled three concerts postponed after the singer was underwent surgery this week to treat leg injury that had become infected.
The procedure was successful, Rime's publicist, Diana Baron, said in a press statement. "She's now resting in a hotel room. She won't be able to travel for a day or two."
"It's a minor surgery, but because of the infection it was urgent that she takes care of it right away," Baron said Monday (7/10).
Rimes was initially forced to cancel shows in Hampton Beach, NH, and Niagara Falls, Ontario. The rescheduled dates have been reshuffled into the lineup, and Rimes will make good on the postponements in September.
Rimes' complete tour schedule is detailed below.
The singer's latest release is "Whatever We Wanna," which was issued last month exclusively in Europe. The set, follow-up of sorts to 2005's "This Woman," features more of a pop feel than Rimes' typically country-flavored past work. The album's first single, "And it Feels Like," peaked at No. 22 on the UK singles chart. No date has currently been set for the album's domestic release.
